"Bisous" Challenge!

This card was trigered by a challenge from a friend, who asked me to make a card with a stamp she sent me. I loved making this one!

Just a note...

A quick card to thank a friend for a lovely party today. Children and parents enjoyed it as much!

(Une carte rapide pour remercier une amie d'une tres belle fete organisee chez elle ce dimanche, petits et grands se sont bien amuses!)

I made this card for a friend who helped me out whilst I was ill.

I used various stamps to create the background (resist technique, white embossing powder), then coloured it with Distress Inks and water (water colouring). I added a Baker's twine and a little tag. The sentiment was stamped and embossed with white powder.

Meet under the tree...

Another minimalist card, featuring a lovely tree and the message "Meet under the tree for a nice cup of tea", in memory of a nice cuppa shared together, with a deep, thoughtful discussion.

The tree is embossed with clear embossing powder, and I used a green "mesh" underneath for a green theme. Added a black ribbon for a "sophisticated" effect.

My first card of the year! I have tried something I wanted to do for a while, i.e. stamping leaves using various Distress Inks, with water on watercolour paper. I added some glitter for a bit of shine, and here it is...
