This card for a special thanks for a friend!
I started making this card late at night, with a plane to catch the next morning. I browsed the web for inspiration, and I found this beautiful card from Alice W.,, which I just love!

I have copied the design with some variations...Outcome not as nice as the original one :-). But I loved making it, as always...

J'ai commence cette carte tard en soiree, avec un avon a prendre le lendemain matin....En recherche d'inspiration, je suis tombee sur cette magnifique carte de Alice W.
J'ai tente une replique avec des variantes....pas aussi reussi que l'original, que j'adore!!...Mais c'etait sympa de la faire quand meme!

Sailing boat...

A special birthday, celebrating a special milestone in the "life sailing adventure" ;-).
I loved the colour combination of blue and orange...I hand drew the boat shape on a piece of patterned paper and cut it. Added some gems and a blue baker twine for the "horizon".

Cette carte est pour une amie qui a fete un anniveraire symbolique...J'aime beaucoup le melange de bleu et orange. J'ai dessine la forme de bateau sur du papier colore, ai ajoute des perles oranges, et un ruban bleu pour la ligne d'horizon!
